This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Another piece in the Origin series completed, though with some regrets about the final touches around the eyes where an unsteady hand caused me a couple of times to do a thicker outline than I'd desired. Perhaps the eraser will be produced to see whether I can recover the errors. Nonetheless, I am happy with the concept.
I have had the past week off and mostly just caught up on some rest holed up down on the south coast of New South Wales at a town called Bateman's Bay. Very relaxing, though not very productive. Aside from the Origin series, I been continuing to work on the ink rings series for which I have this vision of a large wall covered in them. The main challenge has been getting the paper wetness and amount of ink right to deliver interesting patterns without the ink either pooling or failing to flow.
Featured here are some of the great pieces that have found their way into my favourites in recent months. I hope you enjoy.

I started drawing in the middle of 2008 in search of a creative release from my job. Eventually I came to realise that the creative spark behind the endless doodles in my notebook needed to be explored more deeply than was ever possible in the fleeting moments of artisitic expression I'd managed to that point. I have no idea where this creative journey is taking me, except to say I am drawn to detail and like images that connect in some way with spirit and soul. My usual approach is to allow each drawing to evolve without great forethought as to the final image, so that the source of my art lies in that transitional place between the unconscious and conscious minds.
One of the main themes of my drawing is "origin". The Origin series speaks to the relationship between the living form and the spiritual realm. These pieces are an expression of the link between the cellular and spiritual, calling upon the theme of sacred geometry. They make the statement that the biological and spiritual are intrinsically linked and inseparable.
You'll see too that sometimes I dabble in poetry - usually reflections on the human condition. My method here is to fix on an idea, and as with my drawing, follow it to see where it goes, but in the written form mostly following rhyme as the pattern that guides.
